Maintenance Manager
Short Description: Responsible for overseeing maintenance operations of the Pepsi Bottling Group bottling plant in Honolulu, HI
Overview of the Company:

Overview of the Role:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining facility performance standards. This includes maximizing equipment reliability/productivity and utilizing process tools and knowledge of system capability to set and achieve performance standards
Specifically, the Maintenance Manger focuses on equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity. This individual must also implement process enhancements to improve package and flavor changeover efficiency.
This individual also develops plans for the implementation of new technology including the implementation of capital plans.
The Maintenance Manager also utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance in general.
The Maintenance Manager is also expected to spend an appropriate amount of time on the plant floor developing both supervisory personnel and front-line employees. This individual ensures that all members of his/her team are fully capable of troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
In addition, the Maintenance Manager also tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures, prioritizes opportunities and develops trimester objectives.

| Qualifications |
Degree Preferred:
Majors Preferred: Operations Management/Engineering
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a desire to live and work in Hawaii.
Any associated relocation will be at the candidate's expense.
Results-driven.
Good process improvement skills.
Solid analytical thinking skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
At least 5 years experience in operations maintenance (preferably in a high-speed manufacturing environment).
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Good understanding of Statistical Process Control and an ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures.
PC literate.
Understanding of theories of operation, troubleshooting, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance practices. |
